List of Books to Watch Out For from Kelly Branyik

So for the last few weeks, I’ve been reading a lot of books and getting lost in fantasies created by those authors.

I’ve mostly been reading books by Paulo Coehlo, Jodi Picoult, Jane Austen, and the list continues. One of the authors I went through this past week was Kristin Hannah, who is my favorite novelist.

Hannah is the author that made me want to be a novelist.

After reading her book, I remembered that goal again. I went into my sophomore year of college wanting more than anything to create a novel that people could get sucked into.

So I did just that. And currently, I am in the process of writing two books now!

Wintersweet

The Wintersweet novel that I am writing is going to be my honest story for my time living in China as a Peace Corps Volunteer. It will be the most honest I have ever been about anything in my life and I can’t wait to share it with people.

I wanted to add to the Peace Corps literature and provide yet another perspective of how things can go as a Peace Corps Volunteer and this project is very close to my heart.

It is also a challenging story to relive since it was such a significant part of my life.

The Lost Pleiad

The Lost Pleiad is going to be my first fiction/romance/fantasy novel! I went to school for writing fiction, so this is what I am here for. I almost don’t want to tell you the basis of the story because I don’t want to give too much of the idea away! 🙂

But know this, the story is very heavily related to astrology and the connections between other worlds. It will be a fun book to read through with an interesting twist in the story as well.

For those who follow my travels, this is going to be an interesting year full of adventures, including the novel writing that I’ve just told you about.
