10+ Photos That Will Inspire You to Visit the Colorado Outdoors

Posted: November 27, 2018 by Kelly Branyik

Over a month ago, I broke down and bought my very first DSLR. I know what you’re thinking, why in the heck did she wait so long?

My mentality was that I wanted something that was small, compact, and convenient to carry with me at all times. Which is why I chose the iPhone 8s Plus. I love the phone and the picture-taking quality, but after getting my camera, there is nothing like the picture quality I get from my new camera.

The whole reason I even bought it in the first place was when I attended TravelCon where I heard one of my favorite bloggers say, “Guys, buy a camera. Stop taking pictures with your phone.” Thank you, Liz, from the Young Adventuress.

When I went to Best Buy, I purchased a Sony a6000 Mirrorless Camera with a telephoto lens. It was a pretty penny, but since buying it, I have been using it to the max, taking pictures of some of my favorite places here in Colorado. It has upped my picture-taking game, which you will no doubt see when you check out my Instagram.

Which brings me to my next point, Colorado.

Colorado is a GORGEOUS place (the most gorgeous place in my opinion) and every year millions visit to feast their eyes on incredible landscapes, capturing national parks, and off the beaten path adventures that leave them dreaming of Colorado or planning to move here.

Below are some of my favorite photos I’ve recently taken that will inspire you to visit or even more to Colorado.
